Ask once. Autopilot builds the right AI team.

Type your question. Autopilot reads it and sends it to a single model, or to a panel of specialists on different models whose answer a lead reviewer signs off. You set only speed and cost. Each specialist runs on a different model, chosen at run time from the 52 active models AI Crucible supports across Google, OpenAI, Anthropic, xAI, Mistral AI, Alibaba, Moonshot AI, DeepSeek, Zhipu AI, so no team is pinned to a model that can be retired.

Two dials: speed and cost

Autopilot chooses everything else. Questions it reads as simple and low-stakes go to one model; hard or high-stakes ones get a panel. At Fast with Lean cost, anything that is not high-stakes goes to one model.

Speed

  • Fast: One round. Quick checks and drafts.
  • Balanced: Up to 2 rounds, stopping early once the panel agrees.
  • Thorough: Up to 3 rounds for questions that need more back-and-forth.

Cost

  • Lean: The smallest panels, on fast, low-cost models.
  • Standard: Panels on frontier models.
  • Max quality: The strongest models, with a larger panel on hard questions.

In our benchmark the best single model matched or beat the panel on 61% of questions. So Autopilot does not call a panel by default: it sends questions it reads as simple and low-stakes to one model, and saves the panel, and its cost, for harder ones.

Teams Autopilot calls on

Each team is a panel of specialists with its own roles, briefs and lead reviewer. Autopilot calls a field team for high-stakes questions in that field, or you can pin one yourself.

  • Medical Team (Medicine): Specialists work through the question from the clinical, evidence and safety angles, then a lead physician reviews and signs off. Not medical advice. This is a research aid — check anything clinical with a qualified clinician.
  • Legal Team (Law): Analysts work through the contract, the case law and the compliance angle, then a supervising attorney reviews and signs off. Not legal advice. This is a research aid — check anything you rely on with a qualified lawyer.
  • Financial Team (Finance): Analysts work through the model, the market and the tax and compliance angle, then a lead advisor reviews and signs off. Not financial advice. This is a research aid — check anything you act on with a licensed advisor.
  • Construction Team (Construction): Reviewers work through the structure, the code, and the cost and schedule, then a project principal reviews and signs off.
  • General Team (Anything else): Analysts work through the substance, the facts and the practical implications, then a lead reviewer signs off.

Pin a team and choose how hard it works

When you pick a team yourself, one dial sets the panel size, the number of rounds, and the models behind each seat.

  • Economy: A small panel answers in one pass. Fastest and cheapest. 3 specialists, 1 round.
  • Standard: A full panel debates for two rounds and can look things up. 5 specialists, 2 rounds.
  • Premium: The full panel plus a challenger, three rounds, on the strongest models. 6 specialists, 3 rounds.

How it works

  1. Ask your question: Type it the way you would ask a colleague. Attach files if they help. There are no models or strategies to pick.
  2. Autopilot plans the run: It reads what kind of question it is, how hard, and what is at stake, then picks one model or a panel, the method and the judge. You see the plan and its cost before anything runs.
  3. Read the answer: On a panel, a lead reviewer weighs the specialists, resolves what they disagreed on, and signs off on the answer you get. Show the work to see every step.

Watch a real panel at work

Law: One model invented a Supreme Court appeal. The panel caught it. A Red Team / Blue Team panel reviewed a legal brief and caught one model inventing a Supreme Court appeal. Open the run or browse more real runs.

Why a panel beats one model

Measured across 322 benchmarked evaluations on 18 models.

  • 64%: Beat the average model. How often the panel answer outscored the average of its individual models on the same question.
  • 39%: Beat the best model. How often the panel answer outscored every individual model on the same question.
